This post from Monica Burns, a fifth grade teacher in a 1:1 iPad classroom is one for the history buff or the history teacher! This app is very cool and one that might help engage learners that might not think Civil War history is cool (who would think that!) I actually can say that I have used this app because I downloaded it and used it last October on a weekend trip to Gettysburg while on a driving tour of the battlefield with two little girls in the back seat – who were repeating, “Are we ever going to be done with this battlefield?”
